The invention of currency further facilitated exchange. The Middle Ages saw entrepreneurs managing large projects, while guilds regulated crafts. The 17th and 18th centuries brought the concept of risk-taking into the definition. The Industrial Revolution marked a major shift with innovation, mass production, and the rise of capitalism, fostering industrial giants. The 20th century emphasized innovation and saw the emergence of venture capital. The Digital Revolution in the late 20th and early 21st centuries ushered in globalization, the internet, and new, democratized business models focused on value creation. Throughout history, entrepreneurs have been risk-takers, opportunity-seekers, and innovators, driving economic and societal progress.
Who can be an Entrepreneur?
A person is regarded as an entrepreneur when he performs certain actions. When a person observes the environment and finds it lacking, research over curing it and exploiting the opportunity knowing about the risk involved to achieve the desired objective of wealth creation and profit maximization.
The field of entrepreneurship belongs to the person with a creative mind, visionary, resilience and perseverance, self-discipline, strong communication, and leadership qualities.
Entrepreneurs are the essence of the economy as they make contributions to the growth and development of the nation, generate employment, improve the standard of living, and boost infrastructural growth in the country.
To boost entrepreneurial development Governments and other concerned and interested groups or individuals promote schemes and orientations to help entrepreneurs tackle the situation related to factors of production, which would enable them to smoothly function toward the desired objective.
Hence, it is very important to encourage entrepreneurship and betterment of the aggregate.
